I know just enough about Linux to be dangerous.

I'm not completely sure where to go with this error.

minimyth@G320-1:/etc/conf.d $ cat dhcp
MM_NETWORK_INTERFACE='eth0'
MM_TFTP_SERVER='192.168.1.203'
MM_TFTP_BOOT_URL='tftp://192.168.1.203/'

I'm using DNSMasq in DD-WRT equipped router, which worked with a previous install of minimyth and I have retained the same settings from the previous install.

The MythTV backend is running a fresh install of Ubuntu 8.04.

paul@MythTV:~$ ls -l /var/lib/tftpboot/conf/minimyth.conf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 10952 2008-07-12 13:57 /var/lib/tftpboot/conf/minimyth.conf

The minimyth.conf file needs to be in a sub-directory named either <hostname> or default. That is:
/var/lib/tftpboot/conf/<hostname>/minimyth.conf
or
/var/lib/tftpboot/conf/default/minimyth.conf
assuming that your frontend is assigned the hostname <hostname> by the DHCP server.

Aha! That did it, all I have to do now is configure my hardware.conf file.

Thank you!
