Jul 29 12:08:50 (none) local0.info minimyth: processing configuration: fetching additional files 'MM_SECURITY'

Jul 29 12:09:12 (none) auth.info login[4346]: root login on 'pts/0'

err log reads

Code: Select all

root@velma:~ # more /var/log/minimyth.err.log
error: 'TCode' (or 'MM_DHCP_TCODE') not configured.
error: check '/var/log/minimyth.err.log' for further details.

################################################################################
# DHCP overrides configuration variables.
#
 MM_DHCP_HOST_NAME='velma'
# MM_DHCP_DOMAIN_NAME
 MM_DHCP_TCODE='europe/london'
 MM_DHCP_DOMAIN_NAME_SERVERS='192.168.1.1'
 MM_DHCP_NTP_SERVERS='192.168.1.1'
# MM_DHCP_LOG_SERVERS
################################################################################

ive also tried in the boot line with

Code: Select all

DEFAULT minimyth

LABEL minimyth
        KERNEL kernel
        APPEND ro root=/dev/ram0 ramdisk_size=96000 initrd=rootfs MM_DHCP_TCODE="Europe/London"

A couple of things.

(1) The timezone names are case sensitive. Therefore, 'europe/london' is not the same as 'Europe/London'. The value in your minimyth.conf file should be 'Europe/London'.

(2) If MM_DHCP_TCODE is set in your minimyth.conf, then the value on the boot line will be ignored.

(3) I wouldn't have the white space at the beginning of the line before the variable name in your minimyth.conf file. The minimyth.conf file is processed as a shell script. While the busybox shell should not care, better safe than sorry.
MiniMyth running on an Acer ApireRevo 3610 and a Zotac ZBOX-ID80-U. Find out more at my MythTV page.
