0.22 X not starting

Post by bcromwell » Fri Dec 18, 2009 11:15 pm

Trying to upgrade to minimyth .22 Getting stuck at cursor after splash screen. I for some reason don't have a xorg.log file so I am not sure how to trouble shot. Old command of mm command to start x doesn't appear to existing in newer version. Any idea or can someone tell me how to get xorg to log.

X logs to /var/log/Xorg.0.0.log. Do you see anything in there?

File doesn't exist, that's the odd part.

This is the minimyth.log file, Any chance it has anything to do with the first 5 lines about minimyth.pm or is that normal.

What MiniMyth version were you running before?
What are the contents of your minimyth.conf file?
If you have one, then what are the contents of you minimyth.pm file?
What is the output of

Code: Select all

lspci -mn

Nevermind I guess, Reunzipped and tried again and everything appears to work, so either corrupt file or permissions issue. Thanks for the help!
