Boot without MythTV Backend?

Post by dzl »

I am currently re-doing my file/master backend server and have not gotten around to setting up MythTV on it yet. Is it possible to have MiniMyth boot without failing when trying to connect to the backend database? I would like MiniMyth to just be a frontend to access an NFS share containing my media.

Both MiniMyth and mythfrontend require the database during start up.
MiniMyth running on an Acer ApireRevo 3610 and a Zotac ZBOX-ID80-U. Find out more at my MythTV page.
